We are the first and only Metaprising Research Impact (M-RI) Accelerator designed for Individuals, Academics, and Institutions.
By working with institutions and others we envision helping to bring about "a highly coordinated, innovative, and robust Research Impact Academic, Industrial, and Non-Profit ecosystem in the United States (US) and beyond.
To help people, organizations, non-profits, academic institutions, and businesses link their research, education, investments, and services to transformational outcomes that are relevant to individuals, diverse communities, and society-at-large.
RIE is able to provide reliable, relevant, innovative, and high impact services to clients because:
We are Impact Professionals with years of experience in helping institutions maximize their Impact, Research Impact (RI) and Academic Research Impact (ARI).
RIE has access to national and international networks of individuals, organizations, and businesses that will help ensure our clients achieve success.
RIE utilizes the latest impact theories, tools, and practices to optimize client effectiveness, efficiency, productivity, ROI, Social Return on Investment (SROI), and Return on Impact (ROIm).
We have 10+ years of experience starting companies. We will also work with other accelerators and incubators including the ones at your institution on your behalf because trying to work or conduct research while attempting to develop and sustain a net positive impact organization or endeavor takes time and usually a team.
We adhere to and operate within a ten (10) characteristic and action framework. It also guides us on which business opportunities, ventures, assets, and services we develop, provide, acquire, and maintain. These core principles are:
COUNCIL OF ADVISORS
In a multi - vertically and horizontally integrated connected world, "Connection Is Key". This is one salient feature of all metapreneurs or metapreneurial enterprises (MEs). We do not employ a board. Rather, we cooperate, collaborate, utilize, and get counsel from a working group of Nonprofits, Academics, Companies, Organizations, CEOs, and other individuals.
This is done to ensure all participating parties succeed while at the same time ensuring that we are effective, efficient, fulfilling our mission, staying true to our vision, and providing the highest level of impact and value to others.
The key attributes and qualities of those who sit on our Council of Advisors (CoA) are:
1. Longevity in Profession
3. Out-Of-The-Box Thinking
*We provide basic training if needed for those participating in the CoA
5. Impact in Their Area
*8. Basic Understanding of MEs
VENTURE SERVICE OVERVIEW
We provide: Business Strategy/Consulting; Research Program, Proposal, and Research Impact (RI) Venture Development; ; Other Impact Product and Service Initiatives for Individuals (Non - Academics), Academics, and Institutions. All endeavors align with our RIE CORE Vision and Planning Manifesto.
There are five (5) main service themes in the RIE Core. Service themes that apply for those outside of Universities and Colleges are: (I) Assessment and Evaluation and (II) Business and Economic Development Acceleration.
The themes that only pertain to those in the Academy are: (I) Impact Education and Training which helps faculty transition to more externally focused Academic Research Impact or ARI; (II) Organizational RI Culture which helps organization and institutions make the impact transition; (III) Collaborative and Collective ARI which involves proposal preparation, development, and implementation, research program strategy, RI Branding, and graduate training which includes RI Venture development.
As a RI Accelerator we look for and find potentially exceptional Impact, RI, and/or ARI Value Propositions via: our services; our network; individual requests; and recommendations. We then see if we're a good fit with those who have these types of propositions.
Those individuals, organized units, and organizations are then mentored, coached, and supported in a variety of ways that allow them to accelerate their development and net positive impact in terms of Return on Investment (ROI), Social Return on Investment (SROI), and other Impact and Analysis Frameworks for the given or if need be their revised value proposition (VP).
Continued Evaluation and Assessment (CEA)
Once organizational development and Impact VPs are vetted and through working with you and/or your institution - we begin contacting investors, individuals, agencies, firms, and foundations in the impact space that we have or are developing relationships with to further advance your impact. We will also seek out investors, individuals, incubators, firms, accelerators, etc., outside of this space and sector when appropriate.
